Photo Projects
I figured it was time to post some photos from a few of our past photo projects. Some of these are recent photos, some are a few years old. I have been going through our past archives, and that is what prompted me. These are some Infrared images taken of our house and barn last spring.

The image below is from the ground floor of our barn. The studio is upstairs on the next level.
Bobcats
Wendy and I saw three Bobcats in our yard yesterday. We have seen one before, but never three at once. It looked like a mother and perhaps two fairly large young. What beautiful creatures!! Unfortunately, we were in the house, and our cameras were in the studio, so we did not get a picture of them. But I am going to leave a camera in the house with a big telephoto lens on it, so if they come back we might be able to photograph them. Stay tuned!
a few other critters
Here are a few other images of various wildlife that we have running around our yard. Nothing to exotic as we live on a busy road in South Burlington. But still nice to see!
There is also a photo of Wendy and I in our barn!
4 baby birds
Every spring we have a couple of Barn Swallows that makes a nest in our barn. We try to keep most of the other birds out, as they make a mess, but the Barn Swallows are awful cute so we let them have the run of the place. Just yesterday the babies finally ventured out of the barn. The first week of flying they stay in the barn getting the hang of their wings. Each year Wendy and I look forward to seeing a new crop of little Swallows. When I was a kid we had an old wood shed that always had Swallows, so it brings back fond childhood memories. This year, as always, the babies are pretty awkward flyers. For the most part they are just hanging out on the wire, waiting for mom or dad to feed them a bug of some sorts. But of course they will get better flying, and in a few months they will be gone, flying South for the winter. I am sure some of them will be back next year, probably starting their own little family. The welcome mat is always out!
